Energy Star Compliant means the TV set only uses 0.1 watt of power when it’s turned off…..
Non Energy Star Compliant TV sets use about 1.5 watts up to about 7 watts while it’s turned off…..these consume about 3 cents worth of energy in a month….
Like that’s going to financially KILL you….right?
The one that is energy efficient will probably end up costing you less in the long run, because it would use less electricity, and your electric bill wouldn’t be as high.
Energy efficient just means it makes better use of electricity, and uses less than a regular TV.
